OUR STORY

About the Blue Ridge Presbytery
Formed in 2001, the Blue Ridge Presbytery is passionate about planting new churches and college ministries in our region. The presbytery extends through a large portion of Western and Central Virginia from Winchester to Martinsville.

Former Church Plants
As a presbytery we have particularized eight churches in our history. You can see who they are here.
Tabernacle Presbyterian Church
Boonesboro Presbyterian Church
Christ the King Presbyterian Church
Holy Cross Presbyterian Church
Providence Presbyterian Church

Our Team
Our church planting committee consists of experienced church planters, pastors, and elders who serve our planters and encourage our members churches in beginning new congregations.

CURRENT PLANTS
Our presbytery extends about 230 miles north to south along the I81 corridor and east another 60 miles. For ease of planning, we focus on two regions, from Lexington, Va south (the lower end) and everything north of Lexington (the upper end). Currently we have two planting projects in the lower end and three in the upper end.
Lower End:
